About the Project
Duration : 30 Days
Glucoin is a diabetes management application, paired with a CGM coin that has a battery life of 15 days. Apart from continuous blood glucose monitoring, this application works as a activity diary for the user. They can log their meal, exercise or a stressful event and understand its impact on their blood sugar levels. The application also provides analytics based on the blood sugar history which can help in identifying bad lifestyle patterns.
Inspiration
This application is designed to assist in diabetes management with the help of data. While we have plethora of medicines available for diabetes treatment, lifestyle changes are known to have the greatest impact. There is a lot of confusion amongst patients however due to the information overload on the internet. This app can help patients see if their bodies are responding to the lifestyle changes and how.

Retrospective
As my first UX Project, Glucoin was a steep learning curve. Component designing and using design systems came in handy when I had to make changes to the design or design new screens. Logo design was an interesting challenge and I got to learn new tools for designing the same. The project could have been done faster if I had wireframed all screens before I started designing.
